Downtown Chicago Tour

9:00am – 3:30pm with Historian Brad Hunt

Want to explore Chicago on Friday, June 27? Ride the train from Lake Forest to Chicago for a 3-hour tour of the city with Brad Hunt, a Professor of History at Loyola University, author of Planning Chicago (2013), and an Honorary Skelly (self-appointed). We will explore downtown, including the Riverwalk, Millenium Park, and venture into historically significant buildings with an eye to understanding the city’s changing landscape.

Details: Leave from the Forester Hotel at 9:00 a.m. via Lyft for a quick trip to the Lake Forest Train station at 911 Telegraph Road, Lake Forest (MUST use that address, as there are two Lake Forest train stations). Catch the 9:23am train to Union Station in Downtown Chicago ($13.50 round trip for a Day Pass, purchased on the train). Return on the 2:23 p.m. train, arriving in Lake Forest at 3:25 p.m. Questions?
