Want to venture away from the wedding block? If you are opting for another hotel nearby, The Hilton Garden Inn- Lake Forest is another option. Looking for an especially quaint place to stay? Fly into O'Hare International Airport in Chicago! O'Hare is less than 30 minutes from both the wedding venue and the wedding hotel block.

It also makes for a quick and easy trip into the city for those of you who choose to stay in or simply explore downtown Chicago!

Shuttle Service to the Ceremony and back to The Forester: Transportation will be provided from The Forester Hotel to the venue prior to the ceremony, as well as back to The Forester Hotel throughout the night.

Parking: If you’re driving, you must park at St. James’s Church (1380 N Waukegan Rd, Lake Forest, IL 60045) as there is no parking at Elawa. A trolley will transport guests to and from the venue throughout the evening.

Post-Party: After 11:00 PM, transportation will be available back to The Forester Hotel for continued drinks and fun.

Uber and Lyft: Ubers and Lyfts are always an option for additional transportation! For our NYC crew, expect slightly longer wait times.
